  • History Green Paper House

    Green Paper House is the British iteration of RichterHaagVerlag. Its founder, Juli Richter, had the idea to form a publishing house in 2010 in her native Germany. Painters, videographers, and photographers (including Juli herself) shared a garage studio, and postcards were produced to accompany the work exhibited by the artisans. The postcards - printed with the art and photography on show - would go on to form the basis of the work produced by RichterHaagVerlag and Green Paper House.

    Green Paper House reflects the company’s approach to paper - recycled and sustainably produced. The blackboard paper is made from old stock sourced from a graphic design studio, allowing a repurposing of an existing product. The company also uses grass paper envelopes, a material containing up to 50% sun-dried grass, which is manufactured completely without chemicals.

    What is grass paper?

    Grass paper consists of up to 50% sun-dried grass and has a wonderful feel to it, you can literally see fragments of grass. It consists of 100% natural substances and can be processed completely without chemicals. As a new, innovative raw material, grass has many advantages for the production of paper in comparison to wood fibre based paper production: Energy savings of over 90% and CO² reduction by 75% and no chemicals in the production of raw materials.

    Here is a short insight into one of our last projects. We designed the logo, business cards, flyer, brochures and the signage for Mira Vödisch´s surgery.
    We also made an interior shoot of the surgery and portrait photos for the website and social media accounts. Responsive webdesign and developing of her website www.sanfte-osteopathie-freiburg.de
